The Internet is a great resource for people looking for information and help about sexual victimization. I have listed a number of relevant web sites, but there are others as well.
You might look to these resources for help in finding a therapist. For example, the MaleSurvivor web site has a Professional Resource Directory and the RAINN web site has information about finding therapists in any part of the United States. You might also want to look for a rape intervention service in your area. Many of them offer short-term counseling, and may be able to help you find an individual therapist or a support group.
Other web sites on this page have articles about male sexual victimization or list books that may help you. Still others have contact information for reporting suspected child abuse.
As you go through these sites, you may find links to other sites that also may be helpful. I would appreciate hearing from you if there is a site you think would be useful for me to list on this web page.
